Health Care Service Corporation recently celebrated the second anniversary of its expanded Maternal and Infant Health Initiative.
The initiative aims to improve health outcomes for moms and babies through community and clinical partnerships that increase access to quality care, reduce care gaps and address social and economic factors that play a role.
“If you have trusted partners, you can enhance the care continuum, whether it’s preconception, pregnancy or postpartum,” says Dr. Yolanda Lawson, HCSC’s executive medical director for maternal and infant health.
The initiative launched in Texas in 2023 and expanded to Illinois and New Mexico in 2024. Learn more about its impact so far.
