Community Investments

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
HCSC values its employees for their unique talents, perspectives and differences. We have nine Business Resource Groups (BRGs) with 46 chapters across our five states. The BRGs help foster an inclusive culture by supporting diverse perspectives that contribute to business goals, community outreach efforts, strengthening our talent pool and reaching new consumer markets.

Customer and Member Focus
HCSC’s overall member satisfaction is 89%.
In 2021, our customer service representatives answered 21,200 member calls per day. We resolved 64.4% of inquiries on the first call.
HCSC processed an average of 873,000 claims per day and paid 89.6% of claims in the first 14 days.
