Sisters

“Sisters” is a story about Amy and Sara. Sara is the baby of the family who has always been protected by Amy, her older sister. Sara recalls the day when she was meeting Amy at the bank because her older sister was co-signing her car loan. As usual, Sara was running late, and because she knew Amy would be upset, Sara was rushing to get there in time. She was only a few blocks away when she was in a car accident. After the accident, Amy felt helpless and didn’t know how to protect or help her little sister. The only thing she thought to do was call Sara’s insurance company for support. She recalls that each time she called Blue Cross and Blue Shield she experienced individualized attention from employees who took the time to listen carefully to her questions and helped organize Sara’s next phase of recovery. As a result, she knows now what real customer service entails.
