Seasons of Life

“Seasons of Life” is a heartfelt story told by Walter who recently lost his wife of 62 years, Carolyn. He reminisces about the past, how he met his wife and the wonderful times they spent together, which still bring him joy. After 62 years, Walter struggles with his loss. Upon receiving a call from Shasta, a Blue Cross and Blue Shield customer advocate, Walter is able to gather up a smile from their conversation. The story explains Seasons of Life and how the program is designed to help people when they need it most - during a time of loss, grief and devastation with lingering medical bills and insurance claims. The goal is to simplify any remaining health care claims, answer questions and let members like Walter know that Blue Cross and Blue Shield is there if they need us.
