Healthy Kids, Healthy Families (HKHF) is part of HCSC’s ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of the children and families across the states in which we operate. More than 13 million children and their families have been served as a result of our investments in nonprofit organizations that offer sustainable, measurable programs in the following areas:

American Lung Association

Through our partnership with the American Lung Association, we work directly with health centers to improve the quality of care for children with asthma, by engaging providers, community leaders and educators, resulting in improved long-term care outcomes.


We partner with KaBOOM! to build safe community playgrounds and spread the word about the importance of play to increase children's physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles.

Mobile Health Vans

Our mobile health vans travel throughout our states to increase access to care for children and adults in underserved communities. is the ultimate teen dating violence prevention resource, and we’ve partnered with them for three years to create tailored, on-the-ground outreach and awareness programs across Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
